Steps To Follow Before Using Stone Kadaai/Vanali:

Put one spoon of turmeric powder with castor oil or any oil. Mix it well until it looks like a paste, then apply it on the vessel and keep it for 24 hrs.

Then pour the rice starch water into the vanali. It is called a mixture. 

The second day, heat the mixture, pour it into the pot up to the top, and keep it for 24 hours.

Repeat this process on the third day with the same mixture. 

The same procedure repeated for the next three days.

Finally, the 7th day, if the rice kanji or the mixture in the pot remains nonstick, then the pot is ready to use. 

Maintenance Tips:

You can use this stone vanali in the regular Gas burner.

Keep the flame at a low level until the vanali heats up.

Usual cleaning with dishwasher and soap is sufficient for it.
