Description

Nathai Choori is a weed, it is a procumbent, branched, hairy, or rough herb. The height of this herb is 10 to 14 cm. The branches of this herb are greenish or purplish color, it is spread in ascending, stout 4-angled.

The leaves of this herb are ovate, spatulate, or elliptic shape and the length is 1 to 3.5 cm and the width of the leaves is 0.8 to 1.7 cm, it is pointed or rounded at the tip. The flower is occurred 4 to 6 in a whorl in the axils of the leaves.

The calyx-teeth of the flower is linear-lanceolate. The corolla is a pale blue or white color, its length is 5 to 10 mm. The fruit of this herb is a hairy capsule, its length is about 5 mm. The seeds are oblong, granulate, opaque, usually variable, and 3 millimeters or less in length.
