Description

Oil cake tree is a small tree that grows up to 3 – 6 meters in height with dense, round, or umbrella-shaped canopy, and wide.

The bark is grayish and creviced, the branches are dark yellowish-grey. The leaves of this plant are double compounds about 10-20 cm long. These plants have up to 15 pairs of side stalks and 15-35 pairs of leaflets. Arapu Powder is prepared from the leaves of the Oil cake tree. The leaves are fully grown, plucked, sun-dried, and then prepared into powder.
