Description
Carum carvi is a plant species from the Apiaceae family. It is related to cumin and commonly called wild cumin, and caraway. It has a smoky, earthy taste. Most of us often confused this with Nigella sativa.
Black Cumin Seeds are used as a spice in bread especially in rye bread, which is denser because of the yeast-killing properties of the essential oil, Limonene.
