Suggested Uses:
For Hair:

Allow the paste to sit for dye release (time varies, typically 2-6 hours or overnight). Apply evenly to clean, dry or damp hair. Cover and leave on for 1-4 hours depending on desired color intensity. Rinse thoroughly with water (avoid shampoo for 24-48 hours for best results). Tip: Combine with Amla, Indigo, or other herbs for different shades and enhanced conditioning.
For Body Art (Mehndi):
Mix Henna powder with lemon juice or water and a small amount of essential oil (like Lavender or Eucalyptus, optional) to form a smooth, stringy paste. Let it rest for dye release. Fill an applicator cone and create your designs on clean skin. Allow the paste to dry completely and stay on for several hours (ideally 6-8 or overnight) before scraping off (avoid washing initially).
For Cooling/Skin Application: Make a simple paste with water or rosewater and apply externally to the soles of the feet or palms for a cooling sensation.
